Please note that the NUS Postgraduate Conference will be Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June, Britannia Hotel, Nottingham.
The conference will look at the postgraduate student experience and have workshops on a range of topics including: supporting postgraduates that teach; funding for postgraduates; engaging postgraduates in students’ unions and PhD supervision and assessment. Attached is a draft agenda for the event.
The conference will also elect two postgraduate representatives (one PGR and one PGT) to the National Executive Council and the new NUS Postgraduate Committee.
The conference will be £105 per delegate.
For unions wishing to attend only the democratic sessions on the 20th these sessions will be free.
