Who we are
NUS Scotland represents the interests of over 500,000 students in Scottish further and higher education. There are three full-time sabbaticals that work for NUS Scotland:
• President – Robin Parker
• Depute President – Graeme Kirkpatrick
• Women’s Officer – Kelley Temple
The full-time sabbaticals make up three of the 13-member Scottish Executive Committee (SEC), which sets policy for the organisation. NUS Scotland has its own dedicated staff, policy and events to specifically represent students in Scotland and assist Scottish students’ associations.
NUS Scotland runs campaigns to target members of the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish Government and maintains close links with many national organisations in the tertiary education sector, including the Scottish Funding Council, Scotland’s Colleges and Universities Scotland.
